The National Attorneys encourages members to nominate other attorneys who have exhibited outstanding qualifications and experience for the following practice areas:

• Intellectual Property, Trademark and Patent Law
• Commercial Real Estate and Construction Law
• Bankruptcy and Restructuring
• Energy Law
• White Collar Crime
• Media, Entertainment and Sports Law
• Transportation Law

Only the nation’s preeminent attorneys with a minimum of 10 years of practice experience, a career of accomplishment, and who are qualified for membership based solely upon objective and uniformly applied criteria are invited.  Nominees should demonstrate superior qualifications, leadership skills, and results. The selection process includes possible nominations but is combined with research. The criteria used in the evaluation process include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Reputation among peers, the judiciary, and the public as reflected by objective and verifiable information
• Notable achievements in the profession and/or in a practice area or specialty
• Board Certifications in an area of specialty
• Nominations received from leading lawyers, current members and/or our Executive Committee members
• Leadership and membership within other national and state attorney or specialty organizations
• Rankings and ratings of the attorney by credible established associations or organizations.

Memberships are reviewed annually to assure that the membership of The National Attorneys is made up of and remains only top attorneys. All members are automatically reconsidered for membership but not guaranteed re-invitation.
